It was a great opportunity to deepen our yoga practice as we flowed in the jungle – equipped with the sounds of howler monkeys (which sounded like dinosaurs!) and exotic birds! We did yoga every morning and afternoon, ate delicious food, kayaked the Caribbean Sea, sampled the local chocolate, drooled over the local flora and fauna, hiked to a waterfall through the land of the BriBri Tribe (we got to meet a few tribe members – one of which guided us through our very humid jungle hike in shorts and flip flops – and were honored to be able to take home some of their handmade jewelry) and of course, we lived by Costa Rica’s Pura Vida lifestyle!
