Yoga Pop Up

A *Yoga Pop Up is an event where Emily brings the love of yoga to you. We can flow in your backyard or at a local event space or add a calming element to parties or a team building work retreat.

*Yoga Pop Up class will require a clean, safe space to flow for 3+ people.

In Studio Teaching

Looking to add an innovative class to your studio’s schedule? Emily is experienced in teaching Vinyasa, Power, Hot and Hatha style yoga. She loves to bring philosophy and ambient music to every class, further enhancing every student’s yoga experience.

Personal Instructor

Emily brings a sense of calmness into her classes while challenging others to go beyond what they think they are capable of doing. Her style of teaching ranges from Vinyasa, Power, Hot and Hatha and is happy to formulate a personalized flow for you.

Emily believes combining yoga philosophy, asanas and prana into your everyday life will enhance your practice.

You already have what you need to experience true happiness, you just have to look within. Namaste.

Styles of Teaching:

Hot Vinyasa

Vinyasa means to “place in special order”. This is a gradual progression of steps, or asanas, that guide a student from a starting point, resulting in a safe, ending point. Mindful breath work guides the body from each asana. Like Sun Salutations, Vinyasas combine multiple asanas into one, beautiful, seamless flow. Incorporating a hotter temperature to this flow releases toxins from the body while forming a better image of your inner strength.

Power

Like Vinyasa, Power Yoga moves from one asana to the other, but in a much faster pace. In Power, one does not hold positions for a long period of time, as one would in a Yin class. This type of yoga is great for athletes since it is more cardio-forward. Power Yoga classes can be both heated or unheated, either way, this flow is great for an overall “workout” feel.

Hatha

Hatha Yoga, pronounced “Ha Tha”, means “force” in Sanskrit. This is when Emily guides students through each asana, breaking them down to help them observe proper alignment – i.e. grounding feet into the Earth or standing tall with shoulders rolled down. This style is slower than a Power class and truly the backbone of any yoga instructor’s teaching.

Emily’s YTT Graduation Date: October 2021
